At a young age, Lillian Parker studied piano, clarinet, and gymnastics. She then moved from Canada to New York, where she studied classical Chinese dance at Fei Tian Academy of the Arts. Upon graduating with high honors, she pursued advanced studies at Fei Tian College. In 2021, she won first place in the junior female division of New Tang Dynasty Television’s International Classical Chinese Dance Competition.
Anyone can learn the techniques, but only with the right values of action and intention can the dance have the genuine feel of traditional Chinese culture that is so hard to find today.
