Shen Yun to Launch its 2011 Season
NEW YORK
In less than one month, on December 17, Shen Yun Performing Arts will raise the curtain on its 2011 season in Dallas, TX. Starting from this performance, Shen Yun’s three equally large companies will begin the 2011 World Tour. The three companies will travel until May of next year, simultaneously performing in cities across North America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia.
The 2011 tour marks Shen Yun’s fifth season since the company was established in 2006. Besides the scale and number of performances not falling short of previous years, this tour also includes performances in even more of the world’s finest theaters. Counted among them are New York’s Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, the Chicago Civic Opera House, the San Francisco War Memorial Opera House, the Sydney Capitol Theatre, and the London Coliseum (English National Opera).
As in previous seasons, Shen Yun will feature an all-new program. Performances will consist of never-before seen stories and legends depicted through classical Chinese dance, as well as new ethnic and folk dance numbers. In addition, the dynamic digital projections, vocal solos, costumes, and musical scores for live orchestra accompaniment are all completely new.
In the words of our audience members, Shen Yun’s performances are not only at a world-class level, but also deeply soul-stirring and inspiring. We invite you to discover what so many people are excitedly talking about.
Shen Yun looks forward to seeing you at our upcoming performances!
